Beauty Products I Tried for the First Time in 2017

Last year I tried a few new beauty products based on reviews of other bloggers and you tubers that I follow.  I thought I would share my thoughts on them and also whether or not I would re-purchase them.  I have my all time holy grail products that I plan to do a blog post on soon as well, but I think it's fun to try new products from time to time also.  Hope you enjoy and try some of these yourself if you are in the market for something new.

Volume Powder:  If you need extra volume at your roots and your dry shampoo just doesn't do the trick then this is your product.  It has a bit of a hefty price tag for the size, but you only need a little bit at the roots for that extra height.  The powder comes out in a pump rather than a spray which was a bit weird for me at first, but once I got the hang of using it I absolutely love it.
Will I repurchase it?  Yes!!

Miracle Leave-in Product:  I use this right after washing my hair.  It not only helps with frizz, but is also works as a leave in conditioner.  I feel like it helps combing my hair out and it feels soft after drying.
Will I repurchase?  Maybe...  I have a few other things I want to try first.

Dry Shampoo:  I only wash my a hair a couple of times a week, so dry shampoo between washes is a must for me.  Not only does this one work well, but the price is under $10!!  It smells amazing, too.  I think it works the best of any dry shampoo I've ever tried.
Will I repurchase? Yes!!

Dior Foundation:  I saw a review of this on you tube and had to have it based on the reviews of flawless airbrushed skin I decided to try it.  I couldn't wait to use it and see if I could tell a difference from my other every day foundations.  I was actually underwhelmed with it.  I didn't work any better than anything else I had tried and it was way more expensive.
Will I repurchase?  While I will use up what I have, no I will not repurchase.

L'oreal Foundation:  I love this foundation.  I'm not even going to go into major detail about it.  It's less than $15 and works better than any department store brand I've tried in a while.  I just can't justify the expensive stuff after this one.  Try it if you need a new foundation.  I've also read great things about this one.
Will I repurchase?  Yes, already have!!

Anti-Aging Armour: I bought this to use as a makeup primer and was drawn to it for the spf 50.  It has a bit of a tint to it so it is nice for those days when you don't want to wear foundation, but need to even out your skin.  The spf is a huge plus.  I used this a ton at the beach this summer when I didn't want to do full make up.  But not sure I love it as a makeup primer.
Will I repurchase? Doubtful.  I prefer this instead for the same price.

Mascara: I try new mascaras from the drug store quite often and this one from last year is the only one worth mentioning.  It's seriously the best for $10.  I think the brush is a dupe for the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, but for way cheaper.  2 coats of this after my lash primer make my lashes super full and long.
Will I repurchase: Yes, I already have!!

Lash Serum: I'd been reluctant to try a lash serum due to my eyes being sensitive to things sometimes, but I decided to give it a try.  I knew I could always return it if I had any kind of reaction to it.  I applied it nightly as instructed and thought it did give me longer fuller lashes after a few weeks.  I did stop using for a while and noticed that my lashes didn't look as long, so I have recently started back and I'm hoping to see the same results.
Will I repurchase? Yes!
