December Vegas Trip Recap & Outfits

In December Tay and I took a trip with my sister and her husband to Las Vegas.  We were there from Thursday to Monday.  We had so much fun.  I've been to Vegas a ton, but each time I go I find new things about it that I love.

We arrived Thursday night and immediately checked in our room and hit the casinos.  We stayed at Planet Hollywood again and it really is the perfect place for our budget and a great strip location.  We didn't do too much exciting that night but casino hop because we had been flying all day and had a really long layover.

Day 2 Friday:
Sweater//Similar cami//Jeans//Shoes (on sale w/ 20% off)//Bag

We hit the ground running on Friday with our first stop being Fat Tuesday for daiquiris.  That's a Vegas tradition for my sister and I.  Mango is my favorite.  For lunch we all wanted to try In and Out Burger to see if it was worth the hype and oh my goodness yes it was.  So good!!  After that we did quite a bit of casino hopping again spending the most time at Venetian and Wynn.  These are 2 hotels I didn't go to often, but on this trip we always seemed to end up there.  We later went to dinner at Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar.  It's one of our new go-to places for a quick casual meal.  The trash can brisket nachos are a must.

Day 3 Saturday:

Saturday we set out to spend some time at Caesars, Cosmopolitan, and MGM.  After exploring and gambling a bit we made our way to Holstein's in the Cosmo.  This is another one of our must do things in Vegas.  We also chose a day to stop in for a drunken milkshake.  They are amazing.  We didn't eat this time, but I have in the past and their food is really good.  After 2 full days of going non stop we decided to turn in early to be refreshed for our last day.

Day 4 Sunday:

Dress (currently $10)//Similar boots//Bag

Sunday was our last day and those are always the saddest because I never want to leave.  We went back to the Venetian for a bit before heading to Caesars to watch a little football before dinner.  We also stopped in the Palazzo for a photo with this huge love sign.  We only wanted to do one nice dinner while we were there and we chose to try Gallagher's in NYNY because the guys love steaks and the reviews were really good.  It was a great choice and the steaks did not disappoint.   We wrapped up the night after dinner because we all had really early flights Monday morning.

December was really a great time to be in Vegas.  The Christmas decor in the hotels is amazing and the weather being in the 60s every day didn't hurt.  We are already looking to plan our trip for December 2018!!
